I've been a little slow to get this little gem up on the site, but a chance encounter in New York for Damo left a big smile on this face

"I was walking through Soho in New York and clocked this guy who looked familiar, but didn’t think anything of it. Anyway, I’m stood a bit further down the road, doing the tourist thing, checking my map to find the Burton store and the same guy comes up to me and says "hey, I really like your jacket, what is it, can I touch it?" He hears I’m English and asks my name. Now, I’m a bit weirded out by the “... can I touch it bit”, but then it clicks and I’m like no fucking way… Your Mark Gonzales!!! I chatted to him for a bit, he’s cool as fuck, and he took a picture then emailed it to me. I was well stoked as I’ve been watching him in skate vids since I was 15. He was with Spike Jonze’s mum too, who I’m also a massive fan of, so it was the most random of meetings!"
