Clast Background
Clast was started two years ago by Swiss riders Renato Spani, Stephan Maurer and Fabian Fredli, all coming out of the twofour snowboard crew (www.twofour.ch) which also includes riders such as Gian Simmen, Markus Keller and Christian Haller to name but a few. Their aim was to create a new product that they could wear along side their main sponsors without conflict. After many different ideas, they decided neck warmers were the way forward and named the brand “Clast”.
Animals were chosen to represent different items within the range and a fat penguin was chosen to represent the neck warmer. As the range increased so did the animals, creating the Clast Zoo. A giraffe represents the scarf, a bird for the face mask, a bear for the ninja mask, etc. Go check out the Clast website "Clast Zoo" at www.clastzoo.com to see what’s new.
The Clast Team
With many friends it was not long before the team, which started with the twofour crew, crew to include some pretty famous riders including Nico Muller, Fredi Kalbermatten, Eero Ettala and Marcu Koski.
Then latest big name to become part of the Clast Zoo is Gigi Ruf...Who will be next?
The UK team is yet to be announced, but expect to see some big names…
